Yesterday's training

Yesterday I took cab to NUS for nothing. Was supposed to have a brifing on the upcoming Berkelah trip at 11am, so i rushed down, but as ppl were late here and there the briefing started only at 11.30am. darnit, $8 down the drain when it could have been $2. Mistake number one. And mistake number two, was that i wore my St John half-uniform down for what was essentially an NPCC briefing. Not that bad actually, but quite paiseh.

Anyway that earned me the arrow as the first aider (ok lah, not exactly arrow lah, i kind of like it anyway...got to know a new friend yixian! hehe...)

after the whole thing ended, i went down to hall to do my bidding! turned out it's still round 1b, so couldn't bid for mno1001 and gek yet. but i really have to secure the module this sem, if i am to have any hope of doing the business master's next time.

after that i went back to rvhs to help out in the rehearsal for the 50th anniversary parade. it was good, just that got a few cock ups here and there.. but anyway everything turned out fine in the end. today there's another rehearsal, hope to iron out all the kinks by then...

after the parade, settled some admin stuff with the NCO committee including resolving a problem within the corps that took up quite a bit of time. but in the end it was okay, i had more understanding of the problem.

oh, my mum got a third cat. it's a six week old kitten and she has decided to name it Mog Mog, after her first pet which died many years ago.
