Some meaningful quotes

1) A man's friend asked him to lend him $500, which he could easily afford but had his reservations.

Man: "Lord, should I lend him the money or give him the money?"
God: "Son, shall I give you my blessing or lend you my blessing?"

2) Some years ago, a woman had a daughter who was a pre-schooler. She made a Mother's Day card for her mother, but contained a spelling mistake. Instinctively, Mom's eyes zoomed in on that error.  She also saw her daughter's face glowing with excitement and love. Mom felt the Lord telling her,"Love her, with all her imperfections." At that very moment, she also felt the Lord say to her,"And that is how I love you too - with all your imperfections."

The Other Organisation

attended their Annual Parade for the first time, since previously it all clashed with my exam preparation.

Left with this question in mind: I am operationally ready to serve The Other Organisation. But does The Other Organisation need me to begin with?

Deutschkurs

OK this semester I am learning German. And it's a wonderful experience, although I can't compose a coherent blog post in German (unlike Malay which I could compose one, albeit a mistake-ridden one)

Anyway, maybe a sentence will do.

Ich lerne Deutsch und finde das sehr gut. Ich habe einen Freunde wer komme aus Deutschland. Meine Cousine hat einen Ehemann wer komme aus Deutschland. Seine Mutter spricht Englisch nicht.

English Translation:
I learn German and find that very good. I have a friend who comes from Germany. My cousin has a husband from Germany. His mother does not speak English.

OK, i'm sure the above sentence was full of mistakes but anyway...

Update

Sorry I haven't been updating much... been very busy with various aspects of my life especially FYP...

It's finally my final sem in NUS and the feelings are bittersweet. I've spent the past 3 1/2 years of my life in NUS, and in a Hall of Residence to boot, and it has been an experience out of this world. Ahead of me is the working world, with its own challenges ahead.

Thinking of integrating my blogging with Facebook notes instead due to hassle free photo uploading...
