"If a butterfly is in your hand, is it yours? What is going to happen if you hold on to it tightly?
However if the butterfly flits around and rests on the trees and flowers, but at the end of the day returns to you, is it yours?"

Haha.. it's an analogy to something i went thru a while ago (juliet knows... hehe)
Another way to put the oft quoted saying "if you love something.. set it free.. and if it comes back to you it was meant to be.."
